Marie Campbell, FNP
Deep experience
Besides her military and ER experience, she has years in both Gastroenterology specialty and Family Practice clinics.
Marie graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Then after years of clinical experience Marie received a merit-based fellowship from UCLA and graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The UCLA program is one of the first and largest FNP masters degree programs in the West.
Treat the entire person
One of the key characteristics of an FNP is empathy. The background and training for an FNP emphasizes hands-on assessment and care — plus the skill to feel and understand another person’s condition from the patient’s perspective. That is powerful stuff for many patients.
FNP’s are licensed to independently assess, diagnose, and treat illnesses. Marie can prescribe any medicine, order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests, counsel patient about difficult situations, and develop plans that promote overall patient health.
Support for the disadvantaged
As part of her give-back to communities, Marie Campbell has done short term outreaches to seven different nations providing care to underprivileged people.
