Darlene Addison RN

Darlene's ER experience dramatically sharpens her nursing skill sets in listening, assessment, triage, IV medication, and being a patient advocate. Those are the same key skills that we want for our medical team here. In addition Darlene has superb skills in oncology, critical care, post surgical, chemotherapy and infusions

We still have to share Darlene with  UCLA's level 1 trauma center.  Well OK, if they insist. Prior to UCLA Darlene also worked for concierge physicians serving Santa Barbara and Malibu. Before that she managed complex cases in the telemetry unit at St Johns Regional Medical Center here in Ventura County.  

Darlene is the mother of two children.  She served as a California State Lifeguard and lifeguard instructor herself, and is married to a Captain in Los Angeles County Lifeguards. Based in Malibu, Darlene helps complement our patient care near their home locations. She makes it easier to deliver medical care where it is needed.

Darlene Addison earned her degrees at Santa Barbara City College and University of California Santa Barbara.

She has earned a few honors along the way: LA County Medal of Valor Recipient, Founder of the non profit Callie’s Cause, Daisy Award Recipient, and recipient of Malibu Mother of the Year.
